A selection of second hand uniforms are also available for sale. Any donations of used school uniforms in good condition are greatly appreciated and can be left at the office. Second hand uniforms will be available to purchase through the term when the uniform shop is open. Families are notified when the uniform shop is open.
The Uniform Shop is run by volunteers and any profits are donated to the P&C Association to be used for school resources.
The wearing of a full school uniform is compulsory at Blaxland East Public School. This enhances the image of the school, enriches the school tone and results in great pride in their school by students.
The school has a 'No Hat – Play in the Shade' policy to help protect children from skin cancer. Children are to wear a hat that PROTECTS THE HEAD, EARS, FACE AND NECK at all times when they are out of the classroom, including excursions and whenever they are representing the school.
School bucket hats are available in microfibre or cotton, and the Uniform Shop also stocks school sunglasses.
